Congratulations to Zihao "Rex" Wang of Annandale, Virginia, winner of the $2,000 2010-2011 Acacia Federal scholarship.

Rex, a recent graduate of The Marshall Academy, will begin his freshman year at Northern Virginia Community College in August, 2011.

Rex was among seven finalists for the annual scholarship. All finalists submitted a personal resume, a letter of recommendation, and an essay about their involvement in the local community. The finalists then interviewed with the 5-member Acacia Federal scholarship committee at the bank's office in Falls Church.

Acacia Federal has been proud business partner of The Marshall Academy since 2006 and plays an active role in the Falls Church educational institution. This is the 5th consecutive year the bank has offered a scholarship to a graduating senior of The Marshall Academy.
